1. The duration of the test is 45 minutes.
2. The link for the participation will be available on the day of the event for two hours between -- (e.g. 8 a.m) and -- ( 10 a.m)
3. Participants can enter the test at any time within the duration.
4. A participant will be able to submit the answers only during that two hours.
5. The test will be automatically submitted after 45 minutes of the start of the test or 10a.m, which is the earliest.
6. Only one submission per participant will be taken.
7. Prior Registration Required.

1. There is a set of 25 questions in first round which carry 2 marks each, all are based on C and C++.

2. On wrong answering -1 will be awarded.

3. Time limit is given to 25 minutes.

4. In second round, there are 10 questions, which carries out 3marks on giving it right.

5. On wrong answers -2.5 will be rewarded.

6. Time limit is 10minutes.

7. On the questions which require answering or explanations, the answer judged by jury will be finalized.

In design and pretty much everything in life, it is always imperative to have a good foundation. So let us design with the basics. Highlighting the theme IEEE with a caption.

Sizing Standard 17.5" x 19"
Oversized 19" x 25"
All-over 40" x 35"
Don’t forget that resolution depends on which platform you are using. If you are designing in vector (Illustrator), then resolution does not apply. Just make sure to expand your strokes and text!
Ok, now the easy part, create your design! We’ll leave that up to you.

Photography Contest

Photography Contest

Main theme of this event is “Technology and Humanity”. We are looking for striking digital images on Technology and Humanity – and their important connection to each other. The photographs should be the original work of your own.

Instructions:

1: Deadline for submitting entries is 12.00 p.m. Indian Standard Time (IST) on October 27, 2013.

2. All entries must be submitted though our mail ieeegenios2013photocontest@gmail.com

3. Each entry should carry the Author’s Name; his/her complete Postal Address, Telephone Number, e-mail ID (if any) and your IEEE Membership Number.

4. Save copies of your photographs as low-resolution ".jpg" image files no larger than 500K at 72 ppi -- the size will vary. Set image size to approximately 720 to 1000 pixels on the longest side.

5. All photos must accurately reflect the subject matter as it appeared in the viewfinder. Nothing should be added to an image, and aside from dust spots, nothing should be taken away. Normal processing of RAW image files and minor adjustments to color and contrast are acceptable, as is minimal cropping. HDR and focus stacking are permitted as long as all manipulation is disclosed upon entry.

JUDGING:
